2024 Events
We hold three Shows a year – Spring, Summer and Autumn
Our events have classes for vegetables, flowers, floral art, cooking, photography and crafts, as well as children’s classes. DHS members and their children are encouraged to enter for the shows and so help us maintain this village tradition.
Entry to competitions and classes is open to our members and each entry costs 20p.
Spring Bulb Show 2024
The DHS Spring Show will be held in the Ditchling Village Hall on Saturday 23rd March.
Summer Show 2024
The DHS Summer Show will be held in the Ditchling Village Hall on Saturday 22nd June.
Autumn Show 2024
The DHS Autumn Show will be held in the Ditchling Village Hall on Sunday 8th September.
Ditchling Open Gardens 2024
Come and wander round our 8 beautiful village gardens on Saturday 8th June. Stop for some tea & cake or shop for plants and produce. Following last year’s success, we will be opening again in support of St Peter and St James Hospice.
National Garden Scheme - Open Gardens
On Saturday 6th July, the group is opening 6 gardens as part of the National Garden Scheme. Have a great day out seeing beautiful gardens and eating homemade cakes.
