General Data Protection Policy (GDPR May 2018)

Dear members, we seek to be transparent and clear in the work that we do and how we record and use your personal information. For some of this data and our use of it, we need your explicit consent. Please read the notes below and tick to indicate your agreement with the way we hold and use your personal information.

For members of the Ditchling Horticultural Society we would like to keep your contact and personal information in relation to your membership. This information will be seen and used by appropriate officers and committee members of the Ditchling Horticultural Society only.

We may also send a newsletter or updates regarding our Shows, allotments or annual sightseeing Trip.

By agreeing to our Privacy Policy you consent to the use of the information as indicated, until such time as you submit a revised form or contact us about changes you wish to be made to the information we hold about you. If we need to obtain other information or use the data we already have for other reasons, we will ask your permission to do this. Please contact our membership secretary Claire McQuillan at ditchlinghortsoc@outlook.com if you would like to change your personal information or permissions. Information about email list subscribers will be deleted after two years of inaction / no contact. If you wish to complain about the handling of your personal data  you can make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk
