Message from the Chairman - January 2025

A Happy New Year!

A new year and a new DHS Show Schedule for 2025 together with your new membership card. You will also find a helpful guide to the different types of daffodils for your entries in the Spring Show. Just as a reminder, due to the change in their system, you will not be receiving a new Tates card.

You are able to pay your membership with cash when we call, by bank transfer or by cheque. The bank details are included.

Unfortunately, the SumUp card system which we use does not allow society memberships to be paid using a debit or credit card.

We have listened to your ideas and preferences and you will see some new and different categories to enter. All of the shows will be held on a Sunday starting with the Spring Bulb Show on Sunday 23^rd March. This is followed by the Summer Show on Sunday 14^th June and the Autumn Show on Sunday 14^th September. Please do take part in the shows, the more entries we have, the more successful and enjoyable the shows will be for both you and for us.

Due to the continued success of these events, we will once again hold Ditchling Open Gardens in aid of St Peter and St James Hospice on Saturday 21st June and on Sunday 31^st August, the NGS Ditchling Garden Trail. At both you will be able to view some lovely new and interesting gardens.
